It was Awesome =]

The first day we rode into town, We visited my School!

Pony Club Ribbon Day - Closing Rally

Tonks was really good! it was just a ribbon day and i cant be bothered to explain the whole thing =] but ill post pictures! we had a good day anyway!

NISS Dressage Champs

Tonks Went soo wellI got up at like 5 in the morning Pitch black, went to catch tonks bout 20mins later and couldnt find anywhere!! Finally found him hiding in the dark, Once loaded we head to Charlottes - Up honikiwi. We arrived at St peteres at about 8 ish. My first test was at 12.44, so i had ages to wait, But Charlottes was at 8.30 (Hence why we had to get there early) Tonks was reall chilled out i thought he would have gone a bit bonkers cause he hasnt been out in so long, but nah he just dosed in the sun for 4 hours! I hopped on him at about 12, and i had a good 45minute warm up, he was really chilled out!! had to keep pushing him on heaps in the canter so her wouldnt break! =]

I Went in for my first test Which was Prelim 1.4. We was so chilled out, But the judges were a pack of arseholes though. They marked us down SO much. They shouldnt have though, cause he was calm, but not lazy. Bent correctly, etc, but he just had his head a low frame, not "on the bit" 100% of the time, i guess the judges just liked the fancy horses with there head on there chest!! but i was soo stoked with how he went!

Looking at the scores later i only got 50%! and the judge didnt say a single nice comment! what a bitch!

My 2nd Test which was Novice 2.1 was at 2.00 i jumpd on about 30mins before and and warmed him up, again he wasnt phased by anything, This Test got a bit Screwed up but not Tonk's fault i couldnt hear my caller very well unfortunatly. He Broke in the first Medium trot (totally my fault though) and then i got a marker wrong for a trot transition (C, B and E sound similar!!) But his 2nd Medium trot was soooo good! Pity i didnt get to see my results as i hope he got a good mark for that! And his cantering on the loose rein, he was mega good!!

This is the only slightly showie, A&Pish event i do.

Twiggy was a right idiot in the flat work, she was trying to "defy gravity!" and leap as far off the ground as possible, i mean why canter normaly when you can leps sideways?!

I did mange to get a coule of placing though, not to sure how i mangaed that!

The jumpig was fun, although i didnt get placed because Twiggy twiggy wouldnt put onestride in the double, but she jumped well, and overall it was a fun day.

After no placings in the jumping classes so fay, i had decided to unsaddle befor the gave the results out in the final round, my mistake! i got a third, so i had to jump on Twiggy bare back with halter and lead rope and no helmet, to collect the ribbon!! =] man i looked awesome.

Meet Tonks

Hes a 15.1hh TB gelding, Im lucky enought to get him on free lease as his owner has gone to uni, so he would just waste away in the paddock. Hes a really nice horse, Done Timberlands, and Training eventing, But was ready to go open before his owner stopped eventing eventing
